“Seller of afro-latin housy, infectious techy dance grooves with bassy feel good energy.”

That’s how Jordy describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too funky, too tropical too uplifting or just full on energetic and vibey, his emotive musical selections are his own energy and his energy pumping basslines are taking the crowd to their happy places!

Having grown up in the Amsterdam dance scene and night life Jordy started buying his first vinyl at the age of 15. Inspired by the likes of the bigger, at that moment underground, Dutch DJ’s of that time he quickly became a resident of the better clubs in the city. Bookings started to grow and at the age of 23 Jordy started to play in numerous countries and festivals in and out of Europe.
France, Russia, Ukraine, The Netherland, Belgium, Dubai... to name a few countries where Jordy spinned the decks. Now residing in New Zealand, Jordy has played at events like High Life in Matakana, Down The Rabbit Hole from AM Productions and he is ready to conquer NZ and Australia!

These venues had a different range of musical vibes and demands which today translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: Tropical vibes, beautiful synth work, melodic melodies, brooding basslines, and great vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.

After being a very active member of this “mysterious” nightlife and lifestyle, Jordy made the move to New Zealand to reside in this beautiful country.
Though he loves playing in nightclubs, beach clubs, festivals and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes.  As a producer, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.  He also likes to teach DJ-ing to newcomers to the scene and music fanatics.

“For me, it’s all about mood and a funky, latin (tech) housy groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. “
